Punjab Prisons Jobs Key Terms and Conditions
Quotas: A 20% quota is reserved for the children of serving or retired department employees (BPS-01 to BPS-05). There is a 15% quota for women, 3% for disabled persons (where applicable), and 5% for minorities.
Ex-Servicemen: A 5% quota is reserved for retired army personnel for the post of Warder (Male), provided they have a “Good” discharge certificate and retired within the last 10 years.
Selection Process: Warder candidates will undergo physical measurements (height, chest), a running test, a written exam, and an interview. Other posts will be selected based on a written test and interview.
Verification: If any educational certificate, CNIC, or domicile is found to be fake at any stage, the candidate’s recruitment will be cancelled, and legal action will be taken.
Pension Scheme: Recruitment will be under the Contributory Pension Scheme 2026 (Amended).
