Conduct Of Physical Test For Recruitment Of Sergeants And Sergeant Drivers (Bs-07) Of Pera
It is to inform that the PERA is in the process of recruiting its own Sergeants (BS-07) and Sergeant Drivers (BS-07). Advertisement is at Annex-A. The district-wise data of the candidates who applied for the available positions through Punjab Jobs Portal has been prepared (Annex-B). The first stage of the recruitment process involves physical tests of the candidates, for which the Deputy Commissioner of the concerned district under the overall supervision of the concerned Divisional Commissioner is to make all necessary arrangements ensuring the smooth conduct of the test. The dates for conducting physical examinations are as follows:

The test includes a running test, BMI, height, and chest measurement, and biometric verification through NADRA. Separate counters will be available for men and women. Additionally, the concerned SNAs and PERA’s SDEOs and SSOs may be directed to coordinate with the Punjab Jobs Portal team or PERA HQ team, (Mr. Umer Ahmed, rep. of PITB, 0316-0458440 or Mr. Abdul Wajid, rep. of PERA, 0335-6717744) for effective communication and handling of digital data related to the candidates including issuance of intimation letters, identification slips, instructions to the candidates, physical measurement result collection forms, biometric slips, race bibs, compilation and communication of results (Annex-C).

It is also pertinent to note that any candidate who has applied for both Sergeant and Sergeant Driver positions must participate in the physical test for each post, separately.
